Meals from the Home

So, I realized that it is impossible to blog on a regular basis while attending school (especially with only 6 more months left). I thought it might be easier to keep myself accountable by posting new meals that we try. I really enjoy reading posts from this Self blogger who takes pictures of every meal that she eats. It can't be too difficult to try posting new meals every once in awhile, right?

I am going to cheat a little bit, and post a meal that I made a few weeks ago: Chicken pot pie. I generally followed this recipe from Cooking Light. However, I made my own pie crust from Williams-Sonoma. It didn't look as good as the photos, but I thought it tasted pretty good. (picture before baking... I forgot to take one after it came out :)
















Also, while I was in New York a few weeks ago, John Mark's small group killed and cooked some chickens for dinner. The photos were pretty graphic, so here is a nice one of JM catching one of them. :) Poor little guy. haha.
